Heard that about half of the Lillith Fair concerts have been canceled. I don’t know why those people were expecting sellouts at all their shows in this distressed economy. It was some really poor planning on the part of the concert organizers to even book some of those 3rd tier cities. Even more stupid to cancel all the low selling shows, when some of them could have easily been combined.

Thank God my job does not require me to work outside in the elements. Or worse, whether I work or not being dependent upon the lack of rain. The guys who work construction, home repairs, land surveyors and road crews all need sunny days to get their work done. And their paychecks depend on it.

We have had 16 straight days of rain. I don’t think I could go 16 days without a paycheck.

I was surprised at how fast I received the PlayStation 3 game of Superman that I had only just ordered only two evenings ago. I didn’t pay anything extra for fast shipping, so I’m impressed with Gamers Factory on Amazon Marketplace and should be getting the last gift of the season in the next day or so, which I also ordered from them. It isn’t often that I get to say good things about businesses these days, but I have to give credit when credit is due.
